Role Overview
This is a contract remote opportunity for an Excel expert in the United States. The role focuses on improving complex spreadsheets used in business operations and strategy, with work spanning 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation is set at $40 to $55 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, interpret, and improve sophisticated Excel workbooks used for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Offer practical feedback and demonstrate recommended Excel methods for business workflows.
- Create, document, and distribute spreadsheet templates or solutions that can support AI training needs.
- Work with internal teams to map important workflows and uncover operational issues within Excel-based documents.
- Assess business scenarios and build realistic simulations using advanced Excel capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, including complex formulas, functions, and automation features.
- Hands-on background creating Excel-based solutions in business operations or consulting settings.
- Strong analytical ability to handle difficult, non-financial business problems through spreadsheet modeling.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills, with a strong eye for accuracy and detail.
- Practical experience with data analysis, scenario planning, and improving workflows in Excel.
