Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar for a coordinator who will help manage event and exhibition sales activity. The role focuses on handling client enquiries, preparing quotations and proposals, and building long-term relationships with clients, event organizers, and venue contacts.
You will also support event planning and logistics, work closely with production, design, carpentry, and operations teams, and make sure every requirement is properly documented and delivered as agreed. In addition, the role involves maintaining lead records, updating CRM and sales reports, assisting with contracts and paperwork, and providing prompt, courteous customer support.
Client meetings, site visits, and event-day support may be required to help ensure smooth execution and a positive client experience.
Core Duties
- Respond to client enquiries and follow up professionally to support sales conversion.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and related sales documents for events and exhibitions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align event requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain relationships with clients, organisers, and venue partners.
- Track leads, sales opportunities, and follow-up actions in CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Assist with contracts, supporting documentation, and general sales administration.
- Attend client meetings, site inspections, and events when needed.
- Help ensure event logistics and execution run smoothly and meet client expectations.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service throughout the sales process.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have strong customer service orientation, solid communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and organisation. Experience in events, exhibitions, hospitality, or interiors-related work is considered an advantage.
Comfort with MS Office and basic CRM or sales-tracking tools is expected. The role also requires good attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work on-site in Doha, including occasional evening or weekend work during events.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
Work Conditions
This position is based on-site in Doha, Qatar. The schedule may occasionally extend into evenings or weekends depending on event requirements.
