Role Overview
Langley Christian School is inviting applications for a full-time evening custodian at its middle school campus, with the role set to begin in August 2026.

What the Role Involves
This position plays an important part in the day-to-day functioning of the middle school campus. The successful candidate will help keep the facility clean, sanitary, stocked, and in good working order, and may also handle minor maintenance tasks when needed.
The schedule is generally after school, approximately 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There may be some schedule flexibility during school holiday periods. This is a year-round position that includes 2 weeks of holiday.
Qualifications and Job Fit
The school is seeking someone who is dependable, careful with details, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining tidy and functional spaces. The ideal candidate can work on their own with limited supervision while also contributing positively to a team environment.
Completion of Grade 12 is required. Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or general building maintenance would be considered an asset. The job also requires the ability to stay active on your feet, bend, reach, and safely lift up to 15–20 kg. A criminal record check is a condition of employment.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is $50,000. The role includes extended benefits, and pension coverage begins in the second year of employment.
