Role overview
This remote contract position is for a Biology and Environmental Science evaluator who will review AI-generated work products for accuracy, depth, and overall quality. The work is independent and fully remote, with a schedule that can be managed flexibly by the contractor.
What you will do
- Assess Biology and Environmental Science outputs created by advanced models and check them for correctness, completeness, and rigor.
- Use structured grading criteria to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and presentation decks.
- Share detailed expert feedback that supports better model performance and stronger subject-matter results.
- Help identify where the content needs factual correction, stronger analysis, clearer presentation, or improved quality.
Compensation and engagement
The role pays between $80 and $120 per hour. It is an hourly contract arrangement, and payment is issued weekly through Stripe or Wise. There is also potential for the assignment to be extended depending on business requirements and performance.
Requirements
- Strong professional background in Biology and/or Environmental Science.
- Ability to judge subject-matter content against detailed rubrics and quality standards.
- Experience spotting factual mistakes, reasoning flaws, presentation problems, and other quality issues across written materials, spreadsheets, and slides.
- Capacity to provide concise, organized, and practical written critique.
- Native-level or professional-level English communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with particular comfort using PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- A Master’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
Additional information
This is a fully remote independent contractor role. The schedule is self-directed, and the engagement may continue beyond the initial project if needs and performance align.
