Role Overview

This position is a key opportunity to influence how artificial intelligence is introduced and scaled across the enterprise. The role focuses on building enterprise-wide AI adoption, creating strong architectural and governance standards, and integrating AI into core business operations. It also supports the creation of an internal AI Centre of Excellence to promote innovation and best practices.

You will own the design of end-to-end AI solutions that align with the wider technology strategy, while putting in place responsible AI governance covering fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance. The role also involves advancing enterprise platforms so they can support modern AI and data-led operations, and deploying current AI/ML frameworks and cloud capabilities.

Another important aspect of the role is guiding the development and rollout of AI-enabled applications, as well as setting standards for the full AI lifecycle. In parallel, you will identify and rank the most valuable AI opportunities, translate business objectives into scalable technical designs, and support adoption through collaboration with stakeholders and change management efforts.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant is degree-qualified and brings at least 8 years of experience in IT, specifically across architecture and AI solution delivery. Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is expected, along with practical exposure to AI services.

You should also have solid experience with Generative AI, large language models, and current architectural patterns including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent-based design. Experience in communicating AI strategy, risk, and return on investment to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be highly valued.

Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, data privacy regulations such as GDPR and PDPL, and responsible AI principles will further strengthen your profile.
