Role overview

English 1 is hiring an enthusiastic ESL educator who is open to working abroad and bringing energy, curiosity, and cultural openness to the classroom. This opportunity is suited to teachers with prior classroom experience as well as educators moving from another teaching background who are ready to grow internationally, teach in China, and contribute to a global teaching community.

What the role involves

• Teach English to children and teens aged 3 to 16 in lively, interactive classroom settings.
• Use English 1’s structured curriculum along with digital teaching tools to run engaging lessons.
• Review learner progress and share helpful feedback that supports improvement.
• Take part in school functions, cultural activities, and community-based events.

Compensation and benefits

• Earn a competitive pay package with a performance bonus available after 6 months.

Additional notes

Hotel accommodation for the first two weeks is sponsored only after successful completion of the first-year contract. Visa expenses are reimbursed.
