E-commerce Account Manager

Simplistic is hiring an Account Manager to join the Flash Team, where you will help build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and partners while guiding their projects from kickoff through completion. Key responsibilities

In this position, you may be responsible for overseeing partner projects from vendor onboarding through post-sale analytics, while delivering a high-touch experience and consistently meeting weekly deadlines. You will also work to understand each client’s business goals, challenges, and growth priorities.

The role includes shaping product roadmaps, preparing strategic recommendations and analysis, and helping create systems, tools, and operating approaches that support client growth. You will manage client communication by phone and email, capture feedback from both clients and internal teams, and turn it into better, clearer processes.

You should also become highly knowledgeable about the technologies used at Simplistic, including Shopify Plus and HTML, so you can respond quickly to questions, concerns, and issues raised by clients.

Working schedule and location

This is a remote role for candidates based in the United States. Applicants must be able to live and work full-time in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MS, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OK, TX, UT, VA, or WA. The list of eligible states may change depending on hiring needs.

The position requires full-time availability, including a rotating schedule that covers every other weekend. You should be willing to work Eastern Time hours and, at times, outside standard business hours.

Required competencies

Applicants should have at least 1 year of ecommerce project management experience and a basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS. A strong understanding of project management practices is also important, including the ability to guide projects, remove blockers, and keep work aligned with stakeholder goals.

You should be able to handle several projects at once while keeping them on track financially, creatively, and against deadlines. Familiarity with the technology that powers ecommerce experiences, including product data, data structures, and data management, is also expected.

Strong written and verbal communication, excellent organization, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment are all essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment.

Preferred background

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience with content management systems, especially Shopify Plus, is a plus, and SEO knowledge is also beneficial.

The total compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $55,000 to $70,000.
