Overview

JOST is hiring day dispatchers for its headquarters in Weiswampach, in the north of Luxembourg. The role is focused on coordinating transport activity, keeping vehicle movement efficient, and maintaining smooth communication with customers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign vehicles according to geographic area or customer type.
• Handle customer communication, including order intake, issue resolution, and capacity requests.
• Arrange appointments through different customer booking platforms.
• Track vehicles, driving times, and estimated arrival times (ETA).
• Improve route efficiency and vehicle fill rate wherever possible.
• Maintain coordination with JOST subcontractors.

Candidate Profile

• You should be energetic, resourceful, proactive, and able to respond quickly while managing priorities.
• Strong language ability is a major advantage.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is required.
• Turkish and Romanian are additional assets.
• Previous experience in transport is mandatory.
• You must be comfortable working on a computer throughout the day and switching between several software tools.
