Sevita is looking for a caring Direct Support Professional to help individuals build independence, reach personal goals, and take part in everyday community life. What the role involves
- Support people in meaningful daily activities that encourage growth, learning, and overall wellbeing.
- Build genuine, respectful relationships with participants.
- Use your judgment and initiative to help each person stay connected to their community and enjoy preferred activities.
- Assist participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Provide personal hygiene support and help individuals who may experience behavioral challenges or more complex support needs.

Required qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- At least 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
- Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible work style.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

This position is based in Kokomo, Indiana and is a full-time, onsite role.
