Position overview
This role is for a Data Management Specialist (Aircraft) within the MRO-L division of FLTREADCEN EAST at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division. The position focuses on managing technical data and publications that support aircraft maintenance and production activities.
Key duties
- Oversee the procurement, distribution, control, issuance, and audit of technical publications used across production and support functions at Fleet Readiness Center East.
- Study maintenance needs, help production teams define data requirements, and coordinate the delivery of both printed and digital technical information for local and offsite operations.
- Track work progress, report status, and manage the maintenance and use of Portable Electronic Maintenance Aides (PEMAs) for FRCE and the offsite locations in New River, NC and Beaufort, SC.
- Make sure instructions, deadlines, priorities, and working methods are followed so configuration management is maintained and urgent data timelines are met.
- Support incorporation of Electronic Rapid Action Change updates into Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals for F/A-18, V-22, H-1, H-60, and H-53 aircraft using PEMA laptops.
- Coordinate with the designated Information Technology Specialist to ensure quarterly Service Packs are loaded onto all PEMAs through the master hard-drive cloning process.
Compensation
The advertised pay range is 50,460 to 80,243 per year.
