Descrizione del lavoro
About the role
Electronic Arts is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Player & Quality Insights team in Vancouver. The team uses player data and feedback to help game teams build better experiences and deliver titles that match player expectations. In this role, you will turn raw data into actionable insights, help shape decisions with analysis, and contribute to the quality of EA’s games.
You will report to a Manager, Analytics and work in a data-led environment where analysis is used to identify opportunities, reduce risks, and evaluate the impact of playtest and feedback initiatives.
What you will do
- Collaborate with internal partners to clarify project objectives and guide them on player-behavior analysis and the design of player feedback events.
- Review and interpret data to surface risks, patterns, and improvement areas, then communicate findings to teammates and stakeholders.
- Create statistical models and keep refining them so they remain accurate and useful over time.
- Write scripts and queries to pull data, clean it, transform it, and make it ready for analysis.
- Build reports and presentations that highlight opportunities and help direct future playtest planning.
- Encourage effective use of tooling and visualization methods when developing dashboards for project tracking and monitoring.
What we are looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role where data was used to improve processes or outcomes.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or completion of post-secondary mathematics and statistics coursework.
- Strong grounding in mathematics and statistics, including probability, correlation, regression, classification, and statistical modeling.
- Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to work across large datasets in different formats and structures.
- Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall delivery processes.
- Comfort presenting findings and helping prioritize work with both technical and business audiences at different levels.
Compensation and benefits
