Job Summary
This role is for a meticulous, insight-driven data analyst who will support last-mile operations with reporting, analytics, and workforce planning support. The position focuses on turning operational data into clear performance insights, building dashboards, monitoring delivery metrics, and helping teams make informed decisions. A strong emphasis is placed on data reliability, analysis quality, and cross-functional collaboration.
Core Responsibilities
You will develop and manage operational dashboards, examine last-mile performance trends, support workforce and capacity planning, and provide structured reporting for business reviews. The role also includes maintaining data quality standards, documenting reporting logic, and improving the reliability of reporting systems.
Operational Reporting & Dashboards
- Create and update KPI dashboards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Set up automated recurring reports to streamline reporting workflows.
- Deliver reports with accurate, consistent, and timely data for internal stakeholders.
- Track the health of operational metrics and reporting outputs.
Last Mile Data Analysis
- Analyze core delivery metrics such as SLA, assignment time, fulfillment rate, UTR, and captain utilization.
- Spot patterns, irregularities, and performance shortfalls in the data.
- Carry out root-cause investigations and convert findings into practical recommendations.
- Share clear insights and findings with operations stakeholders.
Capacity Planning & Workforce Analytics
- Review workforce utilization and the effectiveness of scheduling decisions.
- Blend shift-planning data with operational performance indicators.
- Identify store-hour combinations with insufficient planning and potential capacity issues.
- Flag high-risk time windows and assist with demand forecasting efforts.
Cross-Functional Performance Support
- Prepare weekly and monthly business performance summaries.
- Support Operations, Planning, and Ground teams with well-structured data outputs.
- Provide insights that help with both operational and strategic choices.
- Assist leadership during performance review meetings and discussions.
Data Quality & Reporting Governance
- Standardize reporting inputs and source data used across dashboards.
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in datasets and reports.
- Document metric definitions, reporting rules, and dashboard methodology.
- Maintain version control and uphold reporting governance practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting.
- Prior exposure to logistics, delivery, supply chain, or e-commerce work environments is an advantage.
- Experience creating operational dashboards and performance reports.
- Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong SQL skills for extracting and analyzing data.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualization tools.
- Comfort working with large datasets and carrying out advanced analysis.
- Knowledge of reporting automation and dashboard creation.
- Certifications in SQL, Python, Power BI, or data analytics are preferred.
- Strong understanding of last-mile operations and key KPIs such as SLA, UTR, CPO, fulfillment rate, and utilization measures.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations.
Eligibility
