Creative Technologist

Role overview

This position is for a Creative Technologist focused on AI and agent-style workflows. You will join an exploratory technical group supporting a large Southeast Asia marketing organization in developing the next generation of AI-driven marketing operating systems.

The role suits someone who enjoys building independently and thrives in the space between AI engineering and creative marketing. You should be able to turn messy workflow challenges into practical, lightweight, and scalable prototypes. Your work will help automate manual tasks, improve unstable or early-stage infrastructure, and make it easier for marketers and agency partners to work efficiently with AI.

You will work closely with marketers to uncover friction points, identify opportunities, and apply AI to improve speed, workflow quality, and creative outcomes in real business settings.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and launch end-to-end AI-powered workflows and prototypes that address real marketing and operational issues.
• Build across both user-facing experience and back-end logic to create solutions that are practical, lean, and impactful.
• Test ideas rapidly, validate them in live environments, and refine them based on feedback, usage, and workflow requirements.
• Collaborate directly with marketers and stakeholders to uncover manual bottlenecks, process gaps, and opportunities for AI-led improvement.
• Convert business needs into usable tools, systems, and experiments that improve speed, ease of use, and output quality.
• Contribute to a more AI-first operating model within a fast-moving creative and social marketing setup.
• Help develop secure and scalable workflows that can serve internal teams and, where relevant, external agency partners.
• Strengthen the infrastructure behind emerging AI tools so early experiments can become repeatable ways of working.
• Share prototypes, learnings, and practical ideas that can inform wider regional or global AI plans.

What we are looking for

• 8 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, creative technology, prototyping, or product-building environments, with strong hands-on capability rather than only strategic oversight.
• A live portfolio demonstrating real examples of work is required.
• Strong full-stack prototyping experience using Python and Java, or JavaScript, TypeScript, and UX, or other comparable languages.
• Experience creating AI-powered workflows, automations, tools, or agent-style prototypes, preferably for marketing operations and related processes.
• Comfort working across both experimentation and execution.
• A scrappy, entrepreneurial builder mindset with the ability to move quickly, handle ambiguity, and ship useful experiments without waiting for ideal conditions.
• Ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders, especially in marketing or creative settings, and translate business needs into tangible solutions.
• Experience with Gemini, Vertex AI, AI Studio, agentic workflows, or similar ecosystems is strongly preferred.
• Interest in social media, content operations, or marketing workflows is a strong advantage.
