Role overview
This position sits within a digital marketing agency and focuses on managing client relationships end to end. The goal is to keep clients informed and satisfied, align campaign work with their business objectives, and help grow accounts through strong service and strategic guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for assigned clients, developing long-term trust and maintaining a strong working relationship.
- Learn each client’s business priorities, marketing aims, and audience needs so appropriate digital strategies can be shaped.
- Work closely with account managers, creative teams, and digital specialists to deliver campaigns and projects successfully.
- Spot chances to expand existing accounts through additional services or upgrades that support revenue growth.
- Keep clients updated with progress reports, performance summaries, and practical recommendations.
- Track client satisfaction and quickly resolve issues or concerns to preserve a high service standard.
- Stay informed about current industry developments, digital marketing methods, and new tools or technologies to provide useful insight.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in client relationship management or a similar role in a digital marketing environment.
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing concepts, tactics, and campaign execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Confident problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills for handling multiple clients and tasks at once.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and project management tools.
- A results-focused approach with attention to measurable outcomes for clients.
- Comfort working in a busy, collaborative team setting.
Qualifications
- A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
- A master’s degree would be an added advantage.
- Experience managing large-scale digital marketing campaigns and associated budgets is valuable.
- Understanding of channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing is desirable.
- Exposure to marketing analytics tools used to measure and assess campaign performance is beneficial.
- Google Ads certifications and other relevant advertising credentials are considered a strong plus.
