Role Overview
This position is ideal for someone aiming to grow a lasting career in technology recruitment within an agency environment. The role focuses on permanent hiring for senior engineering and technical leadership talent in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage candidates for active searches across senior technology and engineering leadership roles, including Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, Distinguished Engineers, Engineering Managers, VPs of Engineering, CTOs, and similar profiles.
- Maintain candidate pipelines carefully, keep the CRM organized, and ensure follow-up and process tracking are handled without gaps.
- Arrange interview scheduling and manage coordination between candidates and client stakeholders.
- Study target organizations, map engineering team structures and CTO office setups, and develop strong longlists for new search assignments.
- Create and execute a refined sourcing approach to reach highly passive but in-demand technical talent.
Growth Opportunities
- Take ownership of client discovery conversations and support communication on active technical search mandates.
- Expand personal network and deepen knowledge of the software engineering and technical leadership hiring market.
- Build confidence in discussing technical topics with both candidates and clients, without needing to code, while understanding the distinction between different senior engineering profiles.
- Progress toward managing an independent desk with complete client ownership.
Required Experience and Profile
- At least 1 to 3 years of recruitment experience, either in an agency or in-house setting, with exposure to technical hiring.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills for interacting with senior engineering leaders such as Staff Engineers, Principal Architects, Engineering Directors, and CTOs.
- Practical experience in sourcing, candidate assessment, and market mapping.
