Role overview
This is a fully remote Chat Operator position for a partner organization, with all applications and later hiring stages handled by that employer. The role is based in Kenya and focuses on keeping digital conversations accurate, natural, and well-managed in a high-volume online environment.
The job blends live chat monitoring, quality control, and AI-assisted communication review. You will work in a structured, fast-moving setting where close attention to detail helps improve user experience. The position also involves spotting mismatches, flagging problems in automated replies, and supporting the ongoing refinement of AI-driven conversation systems. It is best suited to someone who can stay concentrated for long periods and work methodically.
Key accountabilities
- Keep a close watch on chat activity during long daily shifts of 8+ hours to maintain smooth and appropriate conversation flow.
- Step into conversations from time to time to improve clarity, tone, or the quality of responses on behalf of companions.
- Observe, review, and interpret interaction patterns between users and conversational agents or companions.
- Evaluate how accurate and effective AI-assisted responses are, noting what works well and what needs improvement.
- Escalate technical glitches or content issues in automated replies so the system can be improved continuously.
- Coordinate requests for supporting material such as images or videos when they are needed for user interactions.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay focused through repetitive, extended tasks.
- A disciplined, organized, and structured work style.
- Practical understanding of user behavior and basic customer psychology, along with strong empathy.
- Genuine interest in AI tools and a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Fast learning ability and a proactive mindset geared toward growth.
- Strong written Russian skills and a good command of English.
