Role Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Executive for a Finance SaaS product team in Pune. The role is suited to someone who enjoys sales, nurturing client relationships, and working with technology-enabled solutions. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity.
Core Responsibilities
- Source fresh business opportunities through both outbound outreach and incoming leads.
- Connect with prospective customers to understand their financial and operational challenges.
- Showcase and explain the Finance SaaS offering to potential clients.
- Handle the complete sales cycle, from lead creation through to final closure.
- Develop and preserve strong working relationships with clients.
- Work closely with the product and marketing teams to strengthen customer acquisition efforts.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.
Required Profile
- Between 6 months and 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or SaaS sales.
- Strong ability in communication, negotiation, and presentations.
- Proven confidence in building client relationships and closing deals.
- Self-driven attitude with a focus on results.
- Comfort with CRM systems and sales tools/platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
Preferred Background
- Prior exposure to selling SaaS, FinTech, ERP, accounting, or financial software products.
- Working knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation, or business operations.
- Hands-on experience with lead generation, cold calling, and client demonstrations.
