About the Role

This Bellman position at EDITION in Singapore is a full-time, non-management hospitality role focused on delivering polished guest service and seamless arrival and departure experiences. The role sits within Rooms & Guest Services Operations at the property on Cuscaden Road.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests, open doors, and help visitors and guests enter or leave the property smoothly.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain key hotel features such as room keys, mini-bar use, ice and vending locations, in-room safes, and valet laundry options.
• Move guest luggage to and from rooms and the bell desk, and help with luggage storage and collection.
• Assist guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading bags.
• Provide directions and arrange transport such as taxis, shuttles, or limousine/sedan services, while noting advance transportation requests when needed.
• Share parking instructions and procedures clearly with guests and visitors.
• Support a safe, orderly property environment by watching for unsafe conditions or suspicious individuals and reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Greet every guest warmly, respond to service needs, support guests with disabilities, and communicate with clear, courteous etiquette.
• Keep strong working relationships with team members and complete additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED-equivalent education is preferred.
• No prior related work experience is required.
• No supervisory background is needed.
• No license or certification is necessary.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and work throughout an entire shift.
• Capability to move quickly when the situation requires it, including running, walking, or jogging.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance.
• Comfort working on stairs, ramps, and uneven or slippery surfaces, and performing bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping movements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to use professional phone etiquette and visual attention to detail.
