Overview
Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop is hiring a skilled barber to provide haircutting, grooming, and hair-care services at its Langley, British Columbia location. This role is performed entirely at the workplace; remote work is not available.

Experience
A background of 3 years to less than 5 years in the trade is expected.
Work Environment
The job is carried out on site in a setting that can be noisy and may include odours.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients on suitable beauty and grooming treatments.
- Assess the condition of hair and scalp before service.
- Arrange client appointments.
- Cut and shape hair based on client instructions or personal preferences.
- Deliver tailored hair and scalp care treatments.
- Wash clients' hair.
- Shave and groom beards and moustaches.
- Provide additional services such as waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp-conditioning massages.
- Oversee other hairstylists and support staff.
- Supervise apprentices or students in training.
- Perform cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling services.
- Recommend hairstyles that suit the client's features and preferences.
