Automotive Technician - Night Shift

Role Overview

MUSTER LIMITED is hiring an experienced automotive technician for a permanent night-shift position with Manukau Toyota Group in Manukau, Auckland. The role supports a dedicated team working on Toyota and Lexus vehicles and covers servicing, diagnostics, repairs, pre-delivery inspections, and accessory fitting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues through diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections and prepare vehicles for handover.
• Fit accessories and aftermarket additions to vehicles.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer specifications and standards.
• Keep job cards, records, and workshop paperwork accurate and current.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner at all times.

Candidate Profile

• You should be a qualified automotive technician.
• A current WOF authority is required.
• Experience with Toyota or Lexus vehicles would be an advantage.
• You need to be strong in diagnostics and fault resolution.
• You must be able to work on your own and organise your workload effectively.
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship are essential.
• A full New Zealand driver's licence is required.

This is a permanent full-time night-shift role based onsite in Manukau, Auckland. The work week is Monday to Saturday, with hours from 5:00pm to 2:30am.
