Role Overview
This role is based at the project site in Guwahati, Assam, and is focused on running the full spectrum of administrative operations in line with Adani Power’s standards and business goals. The position calls for someone who can build efficient processes, keep the site operating smoothly, and coordinate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day administrative activities at the project location while ensuring adherence to company operating norms and objectives.
- Manage the site’s facilities, including upkeep, security arrangements, and housekeeping, to maintain a secure and productive workplace.
- Create and enforce administrative systems and procedures that improve efficiency and support compliance with internal standards.
- Work closely with teams across HR, operations, and technical functions to enable seamless site support.
- Handle vendor engagement and service agreements to deliver dependable service at controlled cost.
- Track administrative expenses and budgets to ensure prudent use of resources and strong cost control.
- Ensure office materials, equipment, and other operational needs are procured on time and remain available without interruption.
- Guide, support, and develop the administrative team to build ownership, high performance, and ongoing improvement.
- Assist the Site HR Head in planning and executing employee engagement programs and workplace events.
- Put health, safety, and environmental practices into action within administrative activities, supporting sustainability objectives.
Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in general administration, ideally within large industrial environments or the power sector.
- Strong background in overseeing administration activities such as facility operations, vendor coordination, and resource planning.
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational outcomes through effective management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related discipline.
- A master’s degree or MBA in Administration or Operations Management is an added advantage.
