Programme Overview
This is a two-year development programme created by IMDA to build talent for the Infocomm Media sector. It offers structured learning, broad exposure to the digital ecosystem, and opportunities to strengthen specialist capability for future careers in media and digital fields.
The role places you in a fast-paced environment with rotations across different parts of IMDA. Through this, you will gain a strong base for contributing to Singapore’s digital economy and digital society.
What You Can Expect
As an AIM Associate, you will take part in a structured 2 x 1-year rotation model across two divisions, with involvement in business-policy-social and technology-related areas. The programme is designed to help you deepen functional knowledge while building literacy across key areas of the organisation.
- Broaden exposure to the Infocomm Media landscape while strengthening core capabilities
- Take part in two one-year rotations, with portfolio work spanning two divisions in each rotation
- Work on challenging assignments that build both leadership and technical capability
- Receive mentorship from senior leaders for career development

Candidate Profile
IMDA is seeking individuals with strong interest in Infocomm Media and public service, along with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully.
- Academic background in ICT or STEM, Business Administration or Analytics, Communications and Media, or Economics
- Strong drive to perform well and make an impact
- Proven involvement in leadership, competitions, co-curricular activities, internships, or community service
- Undergraduate in the final year of study, or a recent graduate with less than 2 years of work experience
- Strong critical thinking and analytical ability
- Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable adapting to a fast-moving and dynamic work environment
