Role Overview
This position combines a strong talent acquisition mandate with participation in HR business partnering work. The selected professional will help create robust talent pipelines, deliver strong hiring outcomes, and contribute to people initiatives that improve engagement, performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce requirements and shape effective recruitment plans.
- Handle the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer discussions.
- Find candidates through job portals, social platforms, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Develop and sustain a healthy pipeline of both active and passive talent for immediate and future needs.
- Deliver a smooth and positive candidate journey from first contact through onboarding.
- Share timely hiring updates, candidate movement, and market intelligence with stakeholders.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and funnel conversion, then suggest improvements.
- Follow internal hiring policies, labor-law requirements, and documentation practices.
- Use ATS and other hiring tools effectively to manage workflows and create reports.
- Support business leaders on people priorities related to engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Maintain people data, dashboards, and business-unit reporting.
- Drive performance management activities such as goal setting, review cycles, and employee development actions.
- Advise on employee relations issues, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary measures.
- Strengthen manager capability through coaching and structured support interventions.
- Execute employee engagement programs based on survey feedback and action plans.
- Assist with change management efforts and organization development programs.
- Contribute to learning and development initiatives that improve team effectiveness.

- Analytical thinking with a strong data orientation and problem-solving ability.

Experience and Education
- 3 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, along with at least 1 year in HR business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategy, sourcing methods, and candidate evaluation.
- Practical experience using ATS, HRMS, and recruitment systems.
- Exposure to workforce management across different functions.
- Working understanding of core HR areas such as performance management and compensation fundamentals.
- A postgraduate qualification in HR or a related discipline is preferred, though not compulsory.
- Experience in ed-tech, higher education, or regulated industries will be an advantage.
