Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the complete accounting cycle for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and providing support to its subsidiary, McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd. The role focuses on accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with statutory obligations, and assistance with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and SAP-related implementation work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounting function for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and assist McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd when needed.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in line with group policies and legal reporting requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and the corporate secretary on statutory and compliance matters.
  • Track company cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity.
  • Process intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements accurately.
  • Compile cash flow projections and contribute to treasury-related activities.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and recurring financial forecasts.
  • Carry out variance analysis and share financial observations with management.
  • Assist leadership with financial planning and cost management efforts.
  • Support the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare and review quarterly GST filings.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax rules and statutory requirements.
  • Take part in the SAP implementation project for the company.
  • Help with system setup, data migration, and user testing.
  • Provide guidance and training to end users during and after rollout.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage a complete set of accounts on an independent basis.
  • Prior exposure to SAP is required, with implementation experience considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and Singapore tax regulations.
  • Careful, analytical, and capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
