Role overview
This is a senior AI-focused pre-sales and solutions leadership position with a global digital consultancy. The role blends artificial intelligence, technology strategy, business problem-solving, and client partnership to help enterprise organisations achieve measurable value from AI adoption.
What you will do
- Run discovery sessions and engage directly with senior client stakeholders.
- Shape AI-based solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
- Create persuasive proposals, responses to RFPs, proof-of-concepts, and solution designs.
- Work closely with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to build and secure strategic opportunities.
- Guide enterprise clients on AI implementation, cloud environments, data platforms, and modern engineering practices.
- Support customers from the earliest concept stage through successful implementation.
- Contribute to the growth and direction of a fast-scaling AI practice.
Experience and technical expectations
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience across software engineering, solution architecture, consulting, or technical leadership. A strong background in client-facing pre-sales or solution design is important, along with practical exposure to AI areas such as Generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, and evaluation methods. You should also have a solid grasp of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus the ability to explain complex ideas to executive audiences and align multiple stakeholders. Experience winning enterprise technology deals is highly valued, and you should be technically fluent in at least one programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
Compensation and location
The package includes a competitive base salary with bonus potential. The position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in Ireland.
