- Eligibility
- Candidates with the required accounting/bookkeeping qualification or those working toward a bachelor’s degree, along with around 2 years of relevant AP, AR, and payroll experience, are encouraged to apply. Experience in community care, aged care, or the NDIS sector is an added advantage.

Role Overview
We are seeking a thorough and reliable Accounts Assistant who enjoys a varied workload and wants to develop within a broad finance position. This role offers exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, reconciliations, and month-end tasks, while working closely with the wider business in a supportive, growing workplace.
The position partners with the Senior Bookkeeper to help keep everyday financial processes running smoothly and to ensure outcomes are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will be involved in the full finance process, from transaction handling through to reporting support and reconciliation work.
Key Duties
- Handle accounts payable tasks such as entering supplier invoices, assigning coding, checking details, and reconciling statements.
- Assist with accounts receivable work including client invoicing, confirming billing accuracy, reviewing service data, and resolving invoice questions.
- Support payroll preparation by checking timesheets, allowances, variations, and early-stage accuracy.
- Contribute to month-end processes through reconciliations, data accuracy checks, and preparation for reporting and audit needs.
- Receive and organise finance-related correspondence, keep records orderly, and refer complex issues to the appropriate person.
- Work with internal teams to ensure financial tasks are processed correctly and to maintain a positive service experience.
