Accountant, Budgeting & Controlling

Role overview

This position supports the planning, tracking, and control of financial budgets. The role works with different teams and stakeholders to collect data, analyze financial information, and help prepare and monitor the budget process.

Budget preparation

• Partner with Lead Specialists in Budgeting & Controlling for AMTPJ and its subsidiaries to understand business needs and translate them into budget requirements.
• Support the creation of the annual budget by collecting, structuring, and consolidating information from multiple sources.

Budget monitoring and control

• Help keep budget records accurate and current in SAP through internal orders.
• Support expense tracking to ensure spending stays within approved budget limits.
• Assist in making sure any requests for additional budget are approved according to the established authority matrix.

Budget reporting

• Review AMTPJ’s actual fixed costs against budget on a recurring basis and help finalize the reporting.

Cost optimization

• Identify areas where spending is inefficient and suggest practical ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Process improvement

• Continuously assess budgeting workflows, tools, and systems and recommend improvements.

Qualification and education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required.

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience in budgeting and controlling is required, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
