Role Overview

The Account Executive, Emerging reports to the District Vice President for Emerging Accounts and is responsible for driving sales of Dayforce HCM solutions within an assigned territory. As part of the ANZ sales team and an industry specialist, this role supports customers through their transformation journey by combining deep sector knowledge with experience across multiple industry environments. The position is centred on winning new business, though it may also involve working with existing customers.

Key Duties

  • Build and deliver a sales plan that helps achieve quota and grow Dayforce revenue.
  • Use internal expertise and cross-functional support to create account strategies.
  • Own territory and account planning, including targets, milestones and go-to-market direction.
  • Track competitor activity and market changes to sharpen Dayforce’s differentiation.
  • Create relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholders in the assigned market or sector.

  • Background in sales, business development, account management, customer success, SDR/BDR work, recruitment, retail leadership or other customer-facing commercial roles.

  • Interest in building a career in enterprise software and SaaS sales; prospecting and stakeholder management experience is an advantage.
