2D Animator – YouTube Series

Role overview

We are looking for a 2D Animator to join a fast-moving YouTube production team focused on story-led cartoon videos. In this long-term contract, you will help create the full visual world for each episode, including characters, environments, and props. Videos typically run between 10 and 14 minutes, and the animation needs to stay closely aligned with supplied scripts and voiceovers so the storytelling feels clear and engaging.

This assignment is intended for ongoing collaboration, with roughly 10 videos completed each month. It is a good fit for an animator who enjoys narrative work, can match an established reference style, and is comfortable supporting a continuous production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Produce polished 2D animations for YouTube episodes using the provided scripts and voice tracks.
• Create and animate characters, backgrounds, and props in the required visual style.
• Keep the animation tightly synced with narration so the story flows naturally.
• Match the pacing and overall quality shown in the reference material.
• Work with the production team to stay on schedule and deliver multiple videos each month.
• Share updates clearly, respond quickly to feedback, and incorporate project notes reliably.

Skills and requirements

• Hands-on experience with 2D animation tools such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or comparable software.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating cartoon animation and character design capability.
• Ability to reproduce a specific animation look and timing style from reference examples.
• Good visual storytelling sense and close attention to detail.
• Dependable communication and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience creating content for YouTube or other digital platforms is an added advantage.
• Availability for an ongoing, long-term working arrangement.
