Punjabi Content Writer & Social Media Intern

About the internship

This remote internship is for a Punjabi content writer and social media support role focused on public leadership and political communication work in Punjab. The selected intern will contribute content that is engaging, locally relevant, and tailored for social media audiences.

What you will do

• Create Punjabi content for social media channels in an engaging and audience-friendly style.
• Draft captions, WhatsApp messages, and community updates.
• Look into local issues, current affairs, and public policy topics relevant to Punjab.
• Plan, schedule, and manage content across different social platforms.
• Track audience response and support community engagement activities.
• Work with the content team to help execute communication campaigns.

Eligibility

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, can begin between 1 Jul 2026 and 5 Aug 2026, and can commit to a 3-month internship. Applicants should have relevant skills and genuine interest in the role. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Other requirements

• This opportunity is part of a public leadership and political communication project based in Punjab.
• Strong Punjabi writing ability is important.
• Knowledge of Punjab’s social and political environment will be preferred.
• Previous experience in content writing or social media work will be an advantage.
• Immediate joiners are strongly preferred because the hiring need is urgent.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 6,000 to INR 8,000.
