About the internship

This is a 6-month, work-from-home recruitment internship with a part-time schedule. The role is suited to candidates who want hands-on exposure to hiring support and HR coordination in a recruitment agency environment that works with startups and large companies.

What you will do

  • Plan, organize, and run onboarding support for new joiners.
  • Assist with recruitment activities such as posting vacancies, reviewing resumes, and arranging interviews.
  • Help maintain clear employee policies and procedures so they are easy to follow and compliant.
  • Respond to employee questions related to policies, benefits, and general HR processes.
  • Support the creation and rollout of HR policies and procedures.
  • Draft and revise job descriptions so they accurately reflect role expectations.
  • Collect HR data, review metrics, and look for patterns that can inform action plans.
  • Promote openings through the careers page, social media, job portals, and other online channels.
  • Write recruiting messages aimed at passive candidates and screen incoming applications.
  • Prepare candidate shortlists for hiring managers.
  • Keep employee records updated in the company portal with correct and current details.
  • Compile attendance and leave information for HR reporting when needed.
  • Work with the accounts team on payroll-related details to help ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Coordinate with managers to understand upcoming hiring needs and workforce plans.
  • Apply academic knowledge to add fresh ideas to day-to-day recruitment work.
  • Join weekly review meetings with different teams and share progress updates on hiring efforts.
  • Partner with reporting managers, business heads, and internal teams to support recruitment and HR operations.

Who can apply

The role is open to applicants who can work remotely, are able to begin between 17 June 2026 and 22 July 2026, can commit for 6 months, and have the relevant skills and interest for recruitment and HR-related work.

Additional requirements

  • Preference will be given to candidates with strong spoken English communication.
  • Preference is also given to candidates who are eager to learn and grow, not only to those looking for internship experience on paper.

Compensation and perks

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 3,000 to INR 3,001. Additional benefits include a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
