About the internship
This work-from-home internship is focused on helping the team win new web development projects and build stronger client relationships. The intern will research opportunities on freelancing marketplaces, evaluate whether projects fit the team’s capabilities, and craft tailored proposals to improve the chances of success.
What you’ll do
- Find suitable web development opportunities on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, and similar sites.
- Review project briefs carefully to judge whether they align with the team’s strengths and expertise.
- Write and submit customized bids and proposals for relevant projects.
- Respond to early questions from potential clients on freelancing platforms.
- Keep an organized log of proposals sent, client replies, and leads identified.
- Source new leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, and other online channels.
- Set up meetings between interested prospects and the development team.
- Follow up with prospects to help improve conversion outcomes.
- Study market patterns, competitor pricing, and effective bidding approaches.
- Support efforts to bring in new web development work and grow the client pipeline.
