Role Overview
As a Transport Data Analyst, you will pull information from multiple transport and airline systems, turn it into clear reports, and use it to help guide day-to-day operational decisions. The role also involves producing presentations and formatting data in ways that are easy for different teams to use.
You will need to stay highly organized and accurate while working closely with several internal departments to make sure operational planning aligns with flight schedules and food delivery requirements, so service targets are met on time and to specification.
This position plays an important part in supporting the wider team, helping uphold the company’s strong reputation through reliable service, teamwork, and a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and review data from transport and airline platforms such as Samsara, TMS, and British Airways FIDSMONS, then convert that information into accurate, easy-to-read operational reports.
- Build and update dashboards, reports, and performance trackers so stakeholders always have current information available.
- Track safety incident reporting activity, organize the related data, identify patterns, and help support safety improvements and process changes.
- Prepare professional presentations and briefing packs for internal and external discussions, summarizing performance, insights, and recommended actions.
- Work with transport, airside, dispatch, and airline account teams to keep planning aligned with flight timings, customer needs, and delivery goals.
- Assess operational performance and share insights that improve efficiency, resource use, compliance, and service quality.
- Handle large volumes of operational information carefully, maintaining strong accuracy and consistency across reports and communications.
- Support the creation of driver and loader shift plans based on flight schedules.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure airside planning stays in step with flight targets and operational deadlines.
- Gather feedback from transport and airside teams on schedule-related issues and ideas for improvement.
- Maintain a safe working environment and act as a role model for site health and safety, fire safety, environmental, and security procedures.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service by ensuring goods are handed over accurately and delivered on time and to specification.
- Take accountability for your actions, support colleagues, and contribute to team success.
Requirements
