Training Associate

Role Overview

Bucherer USA is looking for a Training Associate to join its Human Resources function in New York. Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, this position helps deliver training and learning programs across both retail and corporate settings. The role works closely with store leadership and the training team to support onboarding, run learning sessions, monitor progress, and turn training plans into engaging in-store experiences.

The right candidate will be highly organized, attentive to detail, enthusiastic about employee growth, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.

Training Delivery and Facilitation

• Assist with onboarding and training sessions for new team members.
• Take responsibility for selected parts of instructor-led workshops and learning programs.
• Help run role-plays, product education sessions, and client experience workshops.
• Reinforce training through store-based coaching and follow-up support.

Learning Coordination

• Organize training timetables, calendars, and related communications.
• Monitor completion status, certifications, and learning compliance.
• Keep training records, dashboards, and reporting systems up to date.
• Support day-to-day administration of the learning management system and eLearning tools.

Onboarding Support

• Help execute onboarding programs across several retail locations.
• Coordinate materials, resources, and logistical details for new hire training.
• Track onboarding milestones and share progress updates with stakeholders.

Retail Partnership

• Work with store leaders to identify development needs and align training with business goals.
• Collect input from participants and leadership to improve future programs.
• Support rollout of company culture, customer experience, and operational learning initiatives.

Content and Program Support

• Prepare training decks, guides, presentations, and quick-reference job aids.
• Contribute to the design of engaging learning activities and recognition efforts.
• Oversee the Mystery Shop Program, including review and delivery of results.
• Assist with additional special projects when needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in training, learning and development, retail operations, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of watches or jewelry is considered an advantage.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Excellent planning, organization, and project coordination skills.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to retail locations.
• Interest in luxury retail, customer experience, and employee development.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to follow through reliably.
• Confident, engaging communicator who works well with others.
• Adaptable, proactive, and relationship-oriented.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $67,000 to $73,000.
