Role Overview

This position is for trainee and experienced windscreen technicians. It is a regular full-time role working around 40 hours per week across Monday to Saturday, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Work rosters are shared in advance. A full UK manual driving licence is required.

What the Job Involves

Technicians work from company centres or travel to customers at their homes or workplaces. The job involves repairing and replacing vehicle glass to a high standard using modern tools and equipment. Trainee Route

No previous industry experience is needed for trainee applicants. The company is looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn. People with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, beauty, delivery driving, and similar customer-facing or hands-on roles may be well suited. If you enjoy helping people and have an interest in cars or practical work, training will be provided to help you build the necessary skills.

Training for trainees starts at a salary of £28,555.

Experienced Technician Route

Applicants with existing vehicle glass fitting experience are encouraged to apply. The company offers competitive pay of up to £32,693.30, plus bonus potential, along with the chance to develop further with a leading employer using modern technology.

Training and Development

As an Institute of Motor Industry (IMI) accredited employer, Autoglass® invests heavily in employee development. Trainees receive a full training programme, IMI-recognised technician qualification, and ongoing support to grow into a skilled fitter. What You Will Need

You should be a friendly, customer-focused person who works well independently and stays self-driven. A full UK manual driving licence is required, along with proof of your right to work in the UK.
