What You Will Do
- Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repair tasks on customer vehicles.

You should also have a good grasp of automotive electrical and electronic systems, the ability to interpret technical information, and the discipline to follow manufacturer instructions precisely. Attention to detail, safe working practices, accurate record keeping, and a customer-focused, professional approach are all important. Teamwork and clear communication are essential when liaising with service advisors, parts staff, and other technicians.
Qualifications
A recognised automotive technician qualification such as NVQ Level 3, or an equivalent credential, is required, along with relevant experience in either a dealership or independent garage setting. Experience with Peugeot or Citroen vehicles is beneficial, as is familiarity with other franchised marques. A full, valid driving licence is also needed.
