Technical Engineer – Aluminum Systems

Role overview

Mocozy Interior Solutions is looking for a Technical Engineer specializing in aluminum systems to handle projects end to end, from design development to final installation. The role involves client interaction, technical coordination, drafting, and site supervision for a range of aluminum products and façade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and clearly present the features and applications of aluminum solutions such as windows, doors, sliding systems, folding doors, curtain walls, skylights, pivot systems, louvers, pergolas, and façade systems.
• Back the sales team in customer discussions by offering technical guidance and recommending the most suitable system options.
• Carry out site measurements and surveys as needed.
• Create shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and other technical detailing work in AutoCAD.
• Liaise with production teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders to keep execution aligned.
• Oversee installation activities and confirm that work matches approved drawings and required quality benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot and close out technical as well as installation-related issues during project delivery.

Requirements

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in aluminum windows, doors, curtain walls, and façade systems is necessary.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is expected.
• Applicants should understand aluminum systems, profiles, hardware, fabrication processes, and installation methods well.
• Excellent communication and client-handling abilities are important.
• Prior experience in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred.
