Supply Chain Analyst

Role overview

The organization is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst for a full-time position based in New Zealand. This role is suited to someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable working with data, and able to support improvements across procurement, logistics, inventory, and day-to-day operations.

What you'll do

• Review supply chain performance metrics and turn the findings into clear management reports.
• Keep an eye on stock levels and suggest ways to strengthen inventory control.
• Contribute to demand planning, forecasting work, and broader supply chain optimization efforts.
• Measure and track KPIs across procurement, logistics, and distribution functions.
• Spot patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities to reduce costs across the supply chain.
• Work with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams to improve operational outcomes.
• Help build and update analytical tools and supply chain models.
• Maintain accurate data across supply chain databases and reporting platforms.
• Support process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations based on your analysis.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• Prior exposure to supply chain analysis, logistics, procurement, inventory control, or a related function is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP platforms and supply chain software will be an advantage.
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle several priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Permission to work legally in New Zealand.
