Role overview
The Spa Service Expert supports the day-to-day functioning of the spa and helps create a guest experience that feels polished, welcoming, and memorable. The role combines service delivery, guest interaction, and front-desk style spa coordination, with an emphasis on professionalism and attention to detail.
Core duties
- Present and explain spa services and retail offerings to guests.
- Handle reservations, confirm appointments, and help keep the schedule organized.
- Welcome guests, guide them through the service process, and respond to questions about treatments and offerings.
- Process guest payments and ensure each transaction is smooth and part of the overall service experience.
- Support a range of spa-related tasks as needed to keep operations running well.
Work standards and physical requirements
This position requires strict adherence to company policies, quality standards, safety practices, and professional appearance and communication expectations. The work involves extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking, including movement across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The job also requires frequent use of reservation systems and the ability to handle light physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Objects may weigh up to 10 pounds without assistance and up to 25 pounds with assistance.
Preferred profile
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. No prior related work experience is required, and no supervisory background or certification is needed.
