Role overview
Authentic Luxury is looking for a meticulous and quality-focused Software Tester / Quality Engineer to help ensure software products are dependable, high-performing, and aligned with user and business expectations. This position centers on improving testing practices, supporting delivery quality, and working with teams across the product lifecycle to create strong digital experiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will participate across the full software development lifecycle, partnering with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, surface risks early, and confirm that solutions meet expected standards. You will design test strategies, prepare test cases, carry out both manual and automated checks, and record outcomes carefully.
Your testing work will span functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and acceptance testing for web, mobile, and software products. You will log and follow up on defects, collaborate with engineering teams to determine root causes, and verify that fixes are correct before launch. You will also maintain QA documentation, support process improvements, and contribute to best practices in quality assurance.
Additional responsibilities include helping assess software performance, validating system requirements, tracking quality metrics, and supporting activities needed to confirm release readiness. The goal is to help deliver products that are stable, secure, scalable, and consistent with quality expectations.
Candidate profile
The ideal hire is analytical, structured in their approach, and committed to ongoing improvement. Success in this role depends on strong attention to detail, sound problem-solving ability, and clear communication.
