About the company
Clear Strategy is a fast-expanding technology consultancy specialising in data, analytics, and AI. The firm partners with ambitious organisations to help them turn data into measurable business results. It has achieved recognition in back-to-back years in the Deloitte Fast 50, won Snowflake’s UKI Services Accelerator Partner of the Year award, received Acquisition International Magazine’s Sustained Excellence in Data Analytics & Consultancy Services Award, and in January 2026 was named a Snowflake Elite Partner.
The company’s culture is built around four values: innovation, integrity, inclusiveness, and impact. It is now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive the delivery of important client work across data, analytics, cloud, and AI programmes.
Role overview
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dublin with a hybrid working arrangement requiring three days on site. On-site work may take place either in the Dun Laoghaire office or at client locations.
As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex technology transformation programmes from start to finish. You will partner with senior client leaders, executive sponsors, consultants, and technical teams to ensure work is delivered effectively, creates business value, and is governed to a high standard.
The role calls for someone who is comfortable working through ambiguity, balancing several projects at once, maintaining commercial discipline, and strengthening client relationships in a consulting environment.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the full lifecycle delivery of multiple concurrent projects across data, analytics, AI, and wider technology transformation work.
- Create and maintain governance structures that keep delivery aligned with client goals and internal priorities.
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, schedules, resource plans, RAID logs, and regular progress reporting.
- Own scope, schedules, budgets, and interdependencies to keep delivery on track.
- Serve as the main contact for client stakeholders and develop trusted relationships at senior and executive level.
- Run steering meetings, programme governance forums, workshops, and executive updates.
- Spot, assess, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies before they affect delivery.
- Encourage strong collaboration among technical teams, business users, and external suppliers.
- Oversee resource planning and team capacity to maximise utilisation and support delivery performance.
- Track financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, revenue recognition, and overall commercial health.
- Maintain high delivery standards through strong controls, sound governance, and ongoing improvements.
- Contribute to business development by supporting scoping, proposals, estimations, and pre-sales activity.
- Coach and support junior project managers and other delivery team members.
- Help refine the company’s project delivery methods, standards, and best practices.
Required experience and capabilities
- At least 7 years of project management experience delivering complex technology, data, analytics, or AI initiatives.
- Background in consulting, professional services, technology, or digital transformation settings.
- Strong commercial awareness, including managing budgets, forecasts, profitability, and contractual commitments.
- Ability to oversee multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including regular engagement with senior leaders and C-suite executives.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with project and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of delivery approaches including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
- Experience managing teams made up of data engineers, analytics consultants, software developers, cloud engineers, and solution architects.
- Ability to identify and manage risk, dependency, and change impacts across projects.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
- Interest or experience in data and analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and modern data platforms is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, Scrum Master, or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Further certification in Agile delivery, cloud technologies, or data platforms would be an advantage.
What success looks like
- Projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the expected quality level.
- Client relationships are trusted and long-lasting, leading to repeat business.
- Project governance is strong and communication with stakeholders remains transparent.
- Delivery teams are supported through coaching, mentoring, and effective leadership.
- The company’s delivery capability, reputation, and growth continue to improve.
Why join Clear Strategy
- Join a people-first, fast-growing organisation where your work has real impact.
- Lead important flagship assignments and help shape client engagement and delivery.
- Work alongside talented colleagues in a collaborative environment.
- Benefit from flexibility, autonomy, and a culture that values authenticity and development.
