Role overview

The organization is hiring a Senior Software Engineer / Senior Dotnet Developer for its Gurugram location. This is a fast-moving, team-oriented role that uses Agile practices and requires a strong Microsoft development background. The ideal candidate should keep product direction in mind, deliver robust production-ready code, and work with a cloud-first mindset while designing for resilience and failure handling.

Key responsibilities

• Build high-quality software, design complex systems, and make architectural choices.
• Review and debug code while maintaining technical documentation.
• Guide and support junior and mid-level engineers through mentoring.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
• Contribute to team growth by interviewing, recruiting, and hiring engineers.
• Make fast, well-informed decisions and take ownership of services and applications at scale.
• Keep up with modern software development practices and approaches.
• Partner with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment flows.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues while improving stability and efficiency.

Technical requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software development experience in commercial projects and production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including .NET 6 and .NET 7.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous and parallel programming.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and NodeJS.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Exposure to deployment tools and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other enterprise-grade databases.

Candidate profile

The position is open to candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization. Applicants should be experienced software developers who are comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment and who can contribute to product, engineering, and hiring efforts.
