Key responsibilities

• Act as the Scrum Master for Agile teams contributing to large healthcare modernization efforts, keeping delivery on track in a technically complex setting.
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Coach team members on Agile values and practices to strengthen collaboration, quality, and delivery speed.
• Work with product owners and other stakeholders to organize priorities, refine requirements, and keep execution aligned with mission objectives.
• Surface and help resolve blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations groups to support successful end-to-end delivery.
• Use Agile metrics and performance indicators to improve transparency and drive process enhancements.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and workflow management using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development or enterprise IT modernization.
• Practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, along with hands-on experience running Agile ceremonies.
• Background in demanding environments such as healthcare IT, federal programs, or large enterprise systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect technical and non-technical groups.
• Comfort using Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities, work through ambiguity, and keep delivery moving in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional certifications like CSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP are considered an advantage.
