Role overview

This is a mid-senior quantitative development position based in Dubai. The team is looking for a driven, detail-focused professional who is enthusiastic about building resilient trading platforms and understands how the trading workflow operates. The role centers on strengthening the core trading engine and creating automation tools that support the business.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance the core trading engine.
• Develop automation solutions that improve trade execution efficiency and consistency.
• Partner with traders, researchers, and fellow developers to gather requirements and turn them into practical solutions.
• Take part in peer code reviews and help uphold strong engineering standards.
• Support live trading systems and models by investigating issues and resolving problems.

Required profile

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Strong Python development ability is essential, along with hands-on familiarity with common data tools such as pandas, polars, numpy, and duckdb. A solid grasp of quantitative finance and statistical techniques is important, as is understanding how financial markets and trading processes work.

Applicants should also bring experience with high-performance, scalable system design, strong analytical thinking, careful attention to accuracy, and the ability to manage several tasks at once. Success in this role also depends on working well in a team and communicating clearly in both written and spoken form.
