Deskripsi pekerjaan
Role overview
This position sits within fintech-led work, where you’ll steer test consultants as they apply modern testing methods and tools across payment and POS solutions. The role calls for someone who can coach the team, set direction, and help maintain consistently high delivery standards in a fast-moving environment focused on innovative payment technology.
What you’ll do
- Lead a QA group by collecting information from business stakeholders, then assessing and ranking business requirements.
- Design, run, and record test cases built from business and functional requirements to make sure coverage is complete and robust.
- Partner with clients to understand current and emerging processes and systems, then turn that understanding into strong guidance and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Expleo’s functional, automated, and performance testing teams to deliver an integrated quality service.
- Work with client technical architects and developers to convert business needs into functional requirements they can use.
- Keep design-iteration scope stable unless a change is formally approved by business stakeholders.
- Escalate concerns to management when issues may affect a major deadline.
- Coach less experienced analysts and encourage the team to generate practical, innovative improvements.
- Inspect test cases created by peers to ensure every requirement is represented in the documentation.
- Re-test defects to verify that fixes have been applied successfully.
- Review work, mentor colleagues, and allocate tasks to junior QA staff.
- Maintain a strong quality focus during product releases.
- Apply a customer-first mindset and strong attention to detail when examining applications under test.
Qualifications and experience
You should hold a degree in Computer Science and have ISTQB certification. Experience with non-functional testing in payments and POS settings is essential.
- Solid API testing expertise.
- Proven involvement in large-scale fintech, payments, or POS programmes.
- Strong client-facing communication skills.
- People leadership capability, including mentoring, knowledge sharing, and learning-focused team development.
- Good teamwork and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to self-manage and consistently perform to a high standard.
- Creative and innovative thinking, balanced with careful judgment.
- Strong commitment to openness and transparency.
- Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Previous test lead experience, plus around 3 years of testing experience across varied environments such as fintech, payments, and POS.
- Experience creating functional and non-functional test plans and test data, while keeping the test environment stable and reliable.
- Test estimation and planning experience are required.
- A meticulous, quality-driven approach with close attention to detail.
Benefits
The role comes with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes wellbeing support, financial benefits, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Supportive, collaborative working culture with close partnership across clients and peers.
- Opportunities to grow your skills through inspiring, challenging work.
- Access to Expleo Academy training and accredited learning programmes.
- Company benefits such as medical and dental insurance, pension, life assurance, a wellbeing programme, sports and social activities, birthday hampers, and more.
- Family-friendly policies and enhanced leave designed to support work-life balance.
- Clear commitment to diversity, inclusion, and career development.
Equal opportunity statement
The employer welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, sex, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or age.
If self-doubt has ever made you hesitate, you are still encouraged to apply. The recruitment team will review every CV against the role’s values, requirements, and competencies.
