Position overview

Porsche Cars North America is hiring a Public Relations Events Intern to join its Lifestyle & Experiential Strategy team in Atlanta. The role focuses on helping shape memorable media experiences, supporting content creation work, and keeping day-to-day PR operations organized in a fast-moving environment. The intern will work closely with a supportive team and collaborate with internal partners, external vendors, press contacts, and content creators.

This role combines event coordination, editorial and social content support, budget and procurement tracking, and administrative assistance. Key responsibilities

  • Support the Spokesperson, Content and Special Projects with the creation and rollout of editorial materials tied to the PR content plan, including creative brainstorming, maintaining a digital asset archive, organizing a social content calendar, partnering with internal teams on social deliverables, and helping produce behind-the-scenes footage for projects filmed at OPD.
  • Assist the Spokesperson, Events and Experiential with planning and on-the-ground coordination for domestic and international media events, as well as other experiential activities. This includes travel coordination, attendee registration, internal communication, finance and procurement support, vendor follow-up, and related logistics.
  • Help the Manager, Lifestyle Communications and Experiential Strategy keep daily department meetings and longer-term initiatives on track.
  • Maintain filing, tracking, and documentation systems for the department, including meeting notes, deadline tracking, and workback schedules.
  • Work with the PR Analyst on finance, accounting, and procurement tasks to ensure documents are handled in line with PCNA finance policy.
  • Schedule and coordinate planning meetings, idea sessions, and content review discussions.
  • Format presentations, reports, and media recap documents for internal use.

Required qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Reddit, Snapchat, and other similar channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior exposure to event organization, including logistics, scheduling, and budgeting, is preferred.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and deadlines at once while handling sensitive information with a very high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent people skills and a flexible, energetic, collaborative, and detail-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural team, with openness to changing requests.
  • Self-driven mindset, strong multitasking ability, and interest in the automotive industry.
  • Comfort with researching and using the right resources efficiently when needed.
