Project Data Analyst

Overview

HZwei - Das Wasserstoff-Magazin is seeking a detail-focused Project Data Analyst at an entry or junior level to support project teams with analysis, reporting, and insight generation. This is a remote role based in the United States, designed for someone who enjoys blending project coordination with data work in order to improve decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Gather, prepare, and examine project data to support reporting and informed decisions.
• Create dashboards, visual reports, and performance visuals to track project progress.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Track key project metrics and call out patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Handle one-off data requests and provide analysis for active projects.
• Keep records of data sources, analytical approaches, and reporting procedures.
• Help strengthen data quality and make reporting workflows more efficient.

Requirements

• Suitable for entry-level or junior candidates with 0–3+ years of experience, including internships.
• Background in data analysis, project support, coordination, or a related function.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, and/or visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and strong organization.
• Able to convert data findings into practical recommendations.
• Comfortable presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capable of managing several tasks at once in a remote-first setting.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be located in the United States and legally authorized to work full-time.
