Procurement Engineer - Fabrications

Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Singapore is responsible for procurement activities related to fabrications. The role covers supplier assessment, purchase order handling, and coordination of quotation requests. It also includes reviewing supplier capability, negotiating agreements, and shaping procurement approaches that support quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. Close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is an important part of ensuring operational support and project alignment.

Core Duties

• Evaluate suppliers and support sourcing decisions based on capability and fit.
• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders along with related documentation.
• Coordinate and manage request-for-quotation activities.
• Review supplier performance and contribute to improvements in procurement workflows.
• Negotiate terms and contracts to secure favorable commercial outcomes.
• Develop procurement plans that balance quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet operational and project needs.

Required Profile

• Hands-on experience in supplier evaluation and sourcing strategy.
• Working knowledge of purchase order management and related paperwork.
• Strong analytical ability to review supplier performance and enhance procurement efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of the RFQ process.
• Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain operations is a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Well organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
