Position Overview
This full-time, onsite role in Medford, Oregon is scheduled primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Patient Scheduling Coordinator supports the imaging administration team by arranging surgical and diagnostic appointments, and may also coordinate pre-anesthesia, oncology/infusion, and other related visits. The position is a key point of contact for the care team and helps ensure that patient care needs are met efficiently.
Core Duties
- Arrange surgical and diagnostic procedures, along with other appointments such as pre-anesthesia and oncology/infusion visits when needed.
- Handle routine administrative tasks, including entering daily charges, processing patient forms, and preparing statistics for reporting.
- Communicate clearly with physicians’ offices, supporting departments, and staff in surgical or primary care areas.
- Serve as a liaison to help coordinate workflow and support patient care delivery.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of clerical experience in a fast-moving medical or professional setting is required.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills are required.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively is required.
- An associate degree in business administration is preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Compensation
The starting pay range is $21.86 to $30.07 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule and Employment Details
- Full-time position with an FTE of 1.0.
- Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
