About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced paralegal to join the general litigation team in an office-based position in Thame, Oxfordshire.

In this role, you will support fee earners with their caseloads and provide broad administrative and legal assistance to the litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage electronic case files, keeping them well organised by completing workflow tasks and handling client instructions.
  • Provide initial support to fee earners with their caseloads and work under their guidance.
  • Review Land Registry office copies.
  • Draft standard legal paperwork using templates from the firm’s case management system.
  • Issue claims, secure court orders, and carry out enforcement steps.
  • Prepare, file, and serve court bundles.
  • Help fee earners prepare invoices and make sure all fees are properly recorded.
  • Support the day-to-day handling of files within the team.

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a legal assistant or paralegal is required.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the confidence to speak to clients in a professional way.
